Karfolio is built on open data from the RDW, the Dutch vehicle authority. From a 1961 Alfa Romeo to a 2026 BYD — your vehicle is probably already in there, with the right model name and the right year.

Karfolio comes out of a genuine love for cars, motorcycles and the stories around them. We kept seeing the same thing: photos scattered across phones, service receipts in a shoebox, and a vehicle’s history disappearing the moment it changes hands.

So we built the place that didn’t exist. A digital garage where your vehicles, drives and projects come together — and stay.

  • Karfolio is an app for car and motorcycle enthusiasts and collectors. You build your own digital garage, where you record and share every vehicle you have. It combines a personal vehicle record with a social experience.

  • No. You can also add vehicles you have driven, rented, borrowed or tested. That way you build up your personal vehicle history step by step. Karfolio also has the Kardex library for spotters.

  • In Karfolio you can add vehicles with photos and specifications, record drives via GPS, log maintenance and upgrades, set reminders, earn badges through challenges, and explore the community.

  • Yes, Karfolio is free to use. There is also a Premium tier with extra features, such as more storage, exclusive badges, detailed statistics and early access to new features.

  • Karfolio has not launched yet. The waitlist gets access first; the public launch follows after that. As soon as we set a date, waitlist members hear it first — by email, before we announce it anywhere else.

  • Yes. You decide whether your garage stays private or is visible to the community. You also choose per vehicle what you share and what you keep to yourself.

  • By completing challenges, such as “First Drive” (uploading your first vehicle) or “Night Run” (recording a drive after 10pm). Some badges are seasonal or only available during events.

  • No. You can add motorcycles, scooters, trucks and projects too. If it has wheels and you are passionate about it, it belongs in Karfolio.

  • Karfolio complies with the GDPR. You remain the owner of your data and can download or delete it at any time. Profiles are stored securely.

  • We are open to working with clubs, organisations and brands. Send a message to info@karfolio.com if you want to collaborate on community events, challenges or integrations.
